The Beginning
Lane Ellis Apparel Agency was born in 2020 from a simple but powerful idea: emerging fashion brands deserve more than just a service provider — they deserve a partner who invests in their growth as deeply as they do.
Co-founders Dale Lane and Brandon Ellis Bynum saw an industry gap. Talented designers with bold visions were struggling to navigate the technical and business complexities of building an apparel brand. The resources existed — but they were fragmented, expensive, and impersonal.
LEAA was founded to change that. By combining Dale's 15+ years of technical design mastery with Brandon's deep retail operations expertise, they created an agency that doesn't just develop product — it develops the people behind the product. Every engagement is rooted in education, empowerment, and genuine partnership.

Co-Founder & CEO
With over 15 years in technical design, pattern engineering, and product development, Dale is the creative and technical backbone of LEAA. His career spans collaborations with major retailers including Target, Nordstrom, and Macy's, and he played a key role at Elastique Athletics developing patented compression technology.
Dale's approach combines meticulous technical precision with a genuine passion for teaching. He doesn't just create exceptional patterns and prototypes — he ensures every client understands the "why" behind every technical decision, building their confidence and competence as brand owners.
His expertise covers the full product lifecycle: from initial concept sketching and pattern creation through sample development, fit sessions, and production oversight. This comprehensive skill set means LEAA clients get continuity and consistency from first sketch to final garment.

Brandon brings the business acumen that transforms creative visions into viable brands. His expertise in retail operations, visual merchandising, strategic planning, and apparel brand management gives LEAA clients something rare: a development partner who understands both the product and the business.
From business development and legal compliance to financial oversight and e-commerce strategy, Brandon ensures that every brand LEAA works with is built on solid operational foundations. His dual expertise in brick-and-mortar and e-commerce means clients get holistic guidance regardless of their sales channel.
Brandon's B.E.A.M. (Brand Essentials Apparel Management) framework is the culmination of years of hands-on retail experience — a structured approach to retail strategy that has helped multiple emerging brands find their footing and scale with confidence.
